Meanwhile, some parts of the world till now have lock downs too. So here we come up with some of the recipes that will help you to maintain your immunity and you can easily prepare them at your home. Not only for surviving Corona times, you can use these recipes in your daily lifestyle for a good immune power.

1. Ginger and Apple cider vinegar juice :

• Ingredients required

1 Cup of water, one inch ginger peeled and grated, 1 tablespoon of raw honey, 1 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar and a pinch of cayenne pepper.

• Method of preparation 

In boiled water add ginger and leave it for five minutes. Then add honey, cayenne paper, apple cider vinegar. Enjoy this warm juice.

• Benefits 

Ginger contains sesquiterpenes chemicals that targets viruses. While Apple cider vinegar contains beneficial bacteria and probiotics that can improve your digestion and impact on immune system.

2. Turmeric tea :

• Ingredients required 

Fresh grated turmeric, one or two tablespoon lemon juice. 4 cups of water and unpasteurised honey for taste.

• Method of preparation 

Just boil turmeric in water for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then serve it warm with lemon and honey according to your taste.

• Benefits 

Turmeric contains curcumin that modulates the immune system and it is the main component of this drink. Turmeric’s strong anti inflammatory properties can help in inflammation of respiratory system.

3. Turmeric delight :

Ingredients required 

Half tablespoon of black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon of turmeric, 2 tablespoon of raw honey. 2 cups of Almond milk, half Cup of coconut milk, 2 tablespoons of honey and one inch piece of Cinnamon.

• Method of preparation 

Combine all the ingredients in a pan and heat at low flame for about 5 to 10 minutes. Just remember, do not boil it, then remove it from the flame an add honey according to the taste. Your Turmeric delight is ready to serve.

• Benefits 

Again, the curcumin found in turmeric boost the body antioxidant capacity and highly active against free radicals. It contains almond milk and other healthy ingredients that help to fight anti inflammatory actions on the body.

4. Spiced tea :

Ingredients required 

1 Tablespoon grated ginger, Cinnamon, cloves, Cardamom pods, Tulsi leaves, unpasteurised honey and peppercorns.

• Method of preparation 

Boil all the ingredients in a pan except honey for about 30 minutes. Just before boil remove from the flame. Serve with honey according to taste.

• Benefits 

The tea has all the ingredients known for their anti microbial and anti inflammatory compounds. This will help in prevention from ward of Infections.

5. The Ultimate Green Smoothie :

• Ingredients required 

Coriander leaves, Mint leaves, baby spinach, cucumber, apple, lemon and black salt.

• Method of preparation

Just blend all the ingredients with a cup of bowl water in a juicer. Then consume it soon.

• Benefits 

This smoothies is a rich source of vitamin A and Vitamin C. Has good amounts of folic acids and other antioxidants. This will help in preventing infections and inflammation.
