The process in which sugars are breakdown with the help of bacteria and yeast is called fermentation. Though fermentation processes are used since a long time as a food preservation process. But recent studies reveal that eating fermented foods can boost up the number of beneficial bacteria and probiotics into the gut thus increasing the intensity of digestion. So here we come up with some of the fermented food that you should try for good digestion and health.
• Tempeh
